Swim Clinic

Philosophy

Swimming is an excellent sport. We have seen it build confidence in individuals, form long lasting bonds and relationships, gain team and individual recognition, and even help students get into college.

Fast Lane is geared toward athletes who are interested in or currently swimming competitively. This clinic is designed to give swimmers techniques and skills that will make their strokes more effective and efficient. It also can serve as a way to give swimmers a head start before their club seasons begin.

At the Fast Lane Swim Clinic, we focus on the following each day:

Body Position and Balance - proper streamline, catch, head positioning, etc. for all four competitive strokes
Drills and Skills - various drills to improve technique and make strokes more efficient
Power and Speed - when to apply effort and at what part of the stroke to ensure the effectiveness of each stroke
Starts and Turns - proper positioning and drills to improve reaction time and get the maximum out of the start and each turn

Swimmers will also be given the proper warm-up and cool-down, as well as a training session each day.

Fast Lane at Ramapo College

2011 Dates: August 22-26 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Price: $150 per individual

There will be a $15 fee for any walk-ups the day of the clinic.

All swimmers will receive a free Fast Lane Swim Clinic T-Shirt

Swimmers can also purchase a Fast Lane Swim Cap for an additional $5. (see registration form)

Make a right and follow road to Parking Lot B
Halfway around the parking lot B (it is a semi-circle) you will see a stop sign. Park there and follow main path between two buildings (Building with a lot of glass will be on your right)
Go to end and enter glass doors on your left.
Pool is on your right, gymnasium is on your left
